Tarev, those magenta bougies do fine out in Palm Springs with enough water so the temps at your place shouldn't faze them. I did plant some of the pinkish white ones and some variegated at my friends house in Cathedral City and they were very slow to get going. I thought they were not going to make it but she says after about a year they seemed to do better and now they are healthy and blooming. They don't get as huge and overwhelming as the magenta though.
