Royal Occasion was a gift from Perfect Perennials in July, 2016, when I purchased some other daylilies from them. It began blooming on June 28, 2017, and its scapes were loaded with buds. More than a month later, after blooming continuously since then, it is still blooming and still has lots of buds yet to bloom.

Prior to July, 2016, all my daylilies were older cultivars with limited bloom spans. I have never had a daylily that bloomed this long (35 days so far). Is this unusual for newer daylilies? What are some others that bloom this long or longer?
