James from Toronto ...Welcome.... My web site says that I do not ship out of the country. www.pansgardens.com
I might be convinced to make an exception because I live close to Olympia and the person who issues the phyto sanitary certificate is a friend. BUT getting it is very time consuming (time =money) and I will still have to pay the Washington State Department of Agriculture fee. I also have to make sure that every plant is not available in Canada. If it is I cannot ship it to you at all. This is a LOT of work. Soooo asking for cheap plants shipped from the USA to Toronto is really a bit of an insult. If you really must have american plants I suggest looking up a nursery in Buffalo, Tonawanda, Nigara on the Lake or Syracuse or somewhere in Mi. and making a day trip. No U.S. nursery will risk smuggling plants into Canada. If caught we would be out of business, not to mention that 50 plants(even chicks).
is way to much to fit in a shoe . LOL
This is also the wrong time of year for you to be trying to establish chicks with or without roots as they will not have enough time to develop sufficient roots before your winter sets in. (They are NOT houseplants). I bet there are some very nice garden centers in Woodbridge, Brampton, Missisauga, Huttonville (I think I remember one east of the intersection of Hwy. 7 and Hwy. 27) and other 'Burbs around Toronto. Check that out first. At this time of year they will be wanting to reduce inventory before the big chill and the plants will already have a good root system. Good Luck
