I just saw one today for the first time I guess. I never noticed it before and actually though it was a tree sapling and the red was the byproduct of a cold front that came through and maybe caused it to start to change color as it died. Made me realize I have no clue how the leaves change colors. I have never watched to see does it start from the stem and work out or the tin in and ect. I want to YouTube a video of a leaf changing color over the season now lol.
