Sometimes it seems that the International Botanical Congress just changes the botanical names just to give people a hard time. I mean, I know there are valid reason sometimes, but I keep thinking...suppose they just decide one day to change a botanical name for no particular reason. I have plant books with many of the botanical names in them that aren't valid anymore. And many times I don't even know they've been changed. Some of those botanical names have changed more than once since the books were published.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
Integrity can never be taken. It can only be given, and I wasn't going to give it up to these people. Gary Mowad
