I have only had Autumn Jewels since 2015 so it is still small. But it has multiplied and bloomed well. It starts blooming in late June in my zone 6b garden. Not very many buds or branching, but the color is very fresh and clean looking.
The scapes hold up the blooms, and the blooms are above the foliage. Both traits that I really love!
