Beautiful shots J! I love the big old live oaks! We have a small botanical gardens here in town with quite a few very old, large oaks around the grounds; one is also known as a Confederate Oak; legend has it that confederate soldiers frequently camped beneath it during the civil war. There are lots of Bromeliads growing around and on the trees and a few years ago they had to erect a fence around some of them to keep people from trampling and destroying the broms and climbing the oaks.
