We have it here in the public garden, it does have short scapes. I think the blooms are 'frumpy' but that is an opinion. Some may like that type of texture/look. Some dl that have similar coloring which I have grown and had great performance here are Two Part Harmony, Harvest Sky, Naughty Nadine Advent and Pumpkin Pie Spice.
