Hi I live in central valley, ca. Lows get to 25 but not for stretches. Typically about 43 lows over the winter. Summers have a high of 112. I'm addicted to tropicals and want to add more but I don't want to plant things that will end up dying.

Right now I have bananas, bamboo, cannas, nile lillies, a giant bird, hosta, variegated ginget, trumpet vine, elephant ear, bougainvillea, rubber tree, split leaf philodendron, wisteria, Boston ferns and queen palms.

What else can I add that will really compliment this theme?
