The MidWest Gardening (About) thread currently lists the states covered by this Forum as

This includes MN, WI, the Dakota's, WY, MT, IL, IN, IA, and so many states in "middle" America.

That "so many states in "middle" America" phrase is kind of "loosey goosey".

Come on, there is no reason we need for people in some states to be wondering if they belong here. Let's simply name all of the states that are included in this MidWest Gardening forum.

The Census Bureau's definition of MidWest America consists of 12 states in the north central United States: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Sorry, Oklahoma, you are in the South. Wyoming and Montana, you are in the Mountain States of the Western United States.

I am in Kansas, but until now was in the mysterious "maybe" zone of "so many states in "middle" America". It's not actually "so many".

Come on, guys. This is not rocket science. Let's fix the "official" sticky definition of this forum.

I tip my hat to you.
