Katie - when I get arthritis in my hands, a friend of mine suggested this and it works great for me:

BEFORE you eat or drink anything in the morning:
1 cup hot water
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Tsp cinnamon powder
1 Tbsp raw cider vinegar (optional)
mix all together and drink

I keep stirring it because the cinnamon doesn't mix in well, but it works for me. Certainly worth a try.
