Started out under a thick dark cloud, pretty darn cold at 1F last night, sun came out about noon and now it is all the way up to 23F. Glare

Sally, it was foggy here and they called it ice fog because of the warm upper air and the cold air below. When we get the hoar frost it is very cold and clear.
This is the definition from Google "hoar·frost
ˈhôrˌfrôst/
noun
noun: hoar frost; noun: hoar-frost
a grayish-white crystalline deposit of frozen water vapor formed in clear still weather on vegetation, fences, etc."

A few photos, the lighting was very interesting with the fog.

Trees in the front, and my house through the truck windshield, made it look greenish.

My nextdoor neighbor's trees, and looking down the street from my driveway.
