Oldest DS called this morning about 9 am from work......wanted to know if the SU could go run the combine till he could leave his work (I should add here that the kid usually gives the boss his 8 hours, or close to it, then comes home about 1 pm and runs the combine till who knows when. And I will let you do the math on how much sleep he gets during harvest season.) Ok, SU can do that. I called him a bit ago and wanted to know if I should bring him some din-din........he said yes........he was plugged up and had a broken belt. Kid had just gotten there and now was off to buy a belt somewhere. Gads, what a pile of bean straw he had dug out of there and he wasn't done yet. Said the kid was ugly. (ya think????........not like HE wouldn't have plugged it up........) Anyway, I asked SU if it plugged because the belt broke, or if the belt broke because he plugged it???? He said he didn't have a clue.........for all he knew he might have run a rock in it and that started the chain of events. Any-hoo...........glad *I* could come home. Big Grin Now to have a spot of lunch and maybe find something to do outside.............spose I should start hauling some of the green children in, tho it's not sposed to get even close to freezing yet this week...........but I better get at it so I don't have to do it all in 1 day (and night.....LOL.....BTDT....)
