This is off the topic of erratic blooming, but I was intrigued by the color of the falls on Wicked Good, which is really intense, so I thought it would be interesting to trace WG's lineage to see where that color comes from:
Wicked Good is the child of Sirocco Mist
and Dinner Talk
Sirocco Mist is the child of Candy Clouds X Poem of Ecstasy. No deep color in those parents.
Dinner Talk is the child of Decadence X (Fogbound X Starring).
Decadence has pretty intense color in its falls
Fogbound has no deep color, but Starring ! !
Now we are seeing where the color comes from.
Starring's pod parent has a complicated parentage, but its pollen parent is Romantic Evening:
There's that gorgeous velvety almost black color!
