Hello Frenchy, yes you can root the cutting with or without leaves, just make sure to callus it well before sticking in well draining soil. But be mindful of the seasons, I would prefer to do the cutting towards Spring when weather is warming up more. It is a Euphorbia, and it likes being warm and with lots of light access. As a cutting, position first in a bright light, part shade area. Once you do see leaves starting to sprout, then you can gradually move it outdoors for more light. Sometimes, it may do flowers first before the leaves. Kind of like growing desert rose, blooming but still somewhat dormant, so be very mindful of watering. When temps are much hotter, then it can take more stepped up watering.
