Hi, I wanted to create a thread for Do it your own - garden art decor

I hope this gets a sticky. D

Post your idea,
pictures,
how to make them - optional,
if you sell them - in case anyone interested in buying
and how you use
plus any other information.

I love making my own stuff than store bought because there is more room to be creative and it last longer.

1] I do these pottery - painted lady bugs - traditional color and different colors - with and without facial expressions.
I actually sell these - 25 usd for ten - whatever colors you want.

2] Large concrete lady bugs - look good under my hibiscus plant.

These are made out of concrete and you can make them yourself. You use an old plastic bowl, pour in mix concrete then harden. One harden remove from the bowl and paint accordingly.

3] I also love to do mushrooms for my garden.
I have big and medium ones. I have to attempt the mini ones - which will be saleable because it's shippable.

The big mushrooms you can make yourself - it's just a lengthy process. Also depending on the bowl used for the top of the mushroom, you can use the mushroom as a stand for a plant pot. If you are putting a pot on top of the mushroom, just remember it needs to be properly in the ground and anchored with sticks around as when the dirt gets soggy and wet, shifting happens as weight adjusts to the earth / ground movement.
I anchored mine properly and have no problem.

Do anyone know how to make those tea cup gardens DIY projects?
