I had a baaaaad feeling about this winter so I took some brug cuttings to root "just in case" . Yeah, it was an extra cold winter and 10 out of 12 cuttings rooted. There isn't a peep of action coming from the mother tree or the sister tree around the corner from it. But it is still a bit early. But while in the garage, one of the cuttings sprouted a seed! I have grown these trees for 10-15 years and never had a seed pod. Now I have one *on a cutting*?? Confused Someone please give me some instruction on what to do with this seed pod on a stick?
