Thanks Lin. They are good in full sun in Zones 4 to 9. The only thing that is very important is that they need to be stratified for at least 3 months before planting. They have very hard shells also but when they sprout they are so much fun to watch. Damp spagnum moss in plastic bag is the best way to stratify.
