I have stuck most of the winter-saved plants in the ground, in mixed clumps just like they were when in the jars. These clumps will be the "mother lodes" for taking tons of cuttings this year. I have already snipped the first batch of this year's cuttings from them.
The tiny side stems that were going to be lost under soil got stuck here. Most have been here 2-4 weeks, so they must have decided to take root. They would have fried in the heat this past week if not. I've never done cuttings this small before, but I thought, why not try? It's an old grill, the legs rusted off.
