I use them for watering plants on my porch and deck. To preserve the hose itself, I run a short hose from the faucet to a shut-off right before the expandable hose. I keep the small hose charged, and just turn the pocket hose on when I use it. And, yes, you could easily just coil the pocket hose into a pot. I hang one on a nice looking hook and let the excess hose dangle behind a shrub on the front porch.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
