@SheilaWilson - welcome!

I love that your family is all joining in! And how neat to have your grandma name a daylily after your son. Lovey dubby I absolutely love hearing the backstory on all of this, it's turning into quite the story! I love the part about her running out to stop the construction workers from bulldozing her beauties--I would have done that, too!

If you have access to family members who have your grandmother's daylilies, could you see if they might be willing to take pictures of the daylilies and/or database them and/or sell them? Personally, I'd love to have Baby Keith in my garden. I, as well as other daylily lovers, might also appreciate having some of the other daylilies your grandmother created in order to preserve them for historical purposes. (If your family members don't know which daylilies are which, it may be possible that we could organize some people to come down and evaluate the daylilies against the descriptions in the database and see if there is a way to determine which daylilies are which.)

Thanks again for popping in here and sharing! Please don't be a stranger! I'm hoping that we can work together to try and preserve your grandmother's daylilies and their identities.
