I agree I love penstemon smallii, too!

As I mentioned, I have 2 Husker's Red which I bought at the same time. Now in their third year, neither one has ever had a hint of red foliage. It's blooming beautifully now, but I wonder if they're really Husker's Red, or another penstemon?
