Water lily is growing and putting out leaves! However, I'm starting to detect a greenish cast .. algae.

It's outside on a table that get 2 hours of full sun starting around 1pm. I pull out any detritus like leaves and such that fall into it and put some mosquito dunk in it. It's been raining every afternoon as well so it's getting a lot of rain water. Is this a suitable environment and how do I stop the algae?

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
