'afterlife'. still performing after its first stalk bloomed on 6/12. (this is a second stalk slightly taller than the 1st one)

'autumn explosion' i guess reblooming since its first appearance for this year on 4/15

7/1/18 standards are more splayed than earlier bloom. its been about 79 deg. of relentless sun after the morning fog burnoff around noon.

'comic opera' continues to bloom, and the second stalk is showing color. but, it hasn't begun to push its flowers up to open. it's been in perpetual bloom since 6/12.

other flowers in the garden besides the hydrangeas, proteas, anthuriums, and frangipani are:

an noid (from annie's annuals in berkeley they've renamed) 'old berkeley' for which the hummers are very thankful and fight over.

this is from annie's, too. i really love this iridescent penstemon called 'bop'

looks like my garden may not be done, yet. stalks sighted for: 'pinkness', (again 5/10) 'midnight seas' ( so this might be considered a rebloom?) , 'his royal highness' sending up several stalks (short and kinda wimpy skinny things.), 'iceland' with 2 stalks didn't bloom this spring (last year it bloomed in mar. & apr. and is considered an e/m/re)?? Shrug! crazy things, keeps me on my toes. Rolling on the floor laughing
