I have been going out the the dogs kennel and letting them out right at day break for a while. It has been so hot letting them out lest them enjoy the morning coolness.

Several mornings now I am seeing mama does with their babies either going out or coming back to the house. Sunday evening july 8th Kare and I were going out to clean the pens feed and give them fresh water.

A doe and two fawns were under the apple trees, I don't think any apples are falling from the trees, they are far from ripe. but some times I think the trees shed a few when they are so many to help the tree over all.

This morning when I went out there was nothing there. After letting the dogs out and checking food and water comeing back in I see a doe and a single fawn under the tree. This time they stayed long enough for me to get a camera from the house and get a picture.

We have a mama doe driveing Kare nuts as it keeps coming to the honey house and eatting the 3 climatis. the center one is getting chewed on the most, today going to try to find the time to string some fishing line across there to see if it spooks her away.

Fishing line worked for the main flower gardens behind the house for many years. It worked till the herd just got so big.
