Well, that's basically how I do it though I don't have a sunroom. The ones I grow seem to have an extensive root system and even though I use larger containers, those roots find the holes and then establish strongly in the soil outside the container. The result is root trimming as well as vine trimming in the fall and the results haven't been entirely satisfactory for a returning passie come spring growth time.
