I agree with the others about not repotting prematurely. That may be why your other one didn't make it.

As long as there is enough soil in the pot so that it can go three days or longer after a thorough watering, then it can stay in that pot. That will be longer than you think, so don't be in a rush to repot.

When you do repot, move it into a pot only an inch wider. Keep the rootball intact and don't remove any soil. Add fresh soilless, potting mix to the bottom of the new pot and fill in around the sides. Do NOT put any potting mix on TOP of the existing rootball.
