I live just outside of Austin and planted six ranunculus bulbs a week and a half ago and haven't seen any sign of sproutage. I made sure the pots drain well and stay moist since it's so hot and dry right now.

Is this typical of the flower? Is my area just no good for them? Did I start them too late into the summer?
