We are currently only dealing with this with Roses, and I made a special exemption for them. Zuzu can add plants without having them checked as duplicates. For this reason, we can have several different Rosa plants with the same cultivar name.

I can do the same thing for Lilies, if you like. Currently I have to add the exemption on a username basis, so I can do this for you only and/or someone else.
