Richard, I have found that Cl. "Dublin Bay" is virtually free from most diseases, and is simply beautiful. Medium red, large blooms, and lots of blooms if branches are trained horizontally and in bloom all Summer here.
Amongst yellows, again with huge med yellow blooms and plenty of them all summer if trained horizontally, Cl. "Golden Gate"!
