I had Howdy for a couple of years, and during that time it increased well and bloomed its heart out. 2 yrs later it got spring sickness....it cut the size of the clump way back. The next spring it was worse and only had 4 fans I gave it the summer to see if it would come back but it never did. Pulled it out and trashed it. I wouldn't even try to compost it for fear what ever it had would be passed on. I planted a Hardy Hibiscus in its place there again in case what ever it had might be passed on to the next daylily. All the daylilies in the area around it are still going strong.
