The hardest thing is that so many need different growing conditions. I have many growing in full sun. I found the light green ones do well in areas that are very bright but no direct sun at all. Reds overall are the hardest with only Root Beer going for a long time. Pretty all other reds have been 2 season plants. The only ones that have done well in heavy shade are seedling that have come up on their own. Almost all of these come from Palace Purple and Villosa.
