Our two here, Tikoy and Smokey are quite familiar with plants, since they were initially strays that came by our garden and eventually adopted us. So they look forward to their daytime routine of going out to explore the outdoors, though lately, just sleeping in the garden.
In the mornings, they go in and out of our house, they know food is indoors, so they have to come back here.
They do not bother any of my plants indoors either. I guess it just depends how they got acclimated to things.
What they cannot resist though is rubbing against my Crassula ovata 'Gollum', I think it feels like fingers to them
