It was my first bloom this year. I ended up with two small clumps of it and was nicely surprised by the blooms. The name does describe it well. "Pure and Simple"- good color, opens nicely. At the end of its first year, the fans were much larger than I anticipated, so I imagine next year's blooms will be bigger and more plentiful. I recall scapes just above the foliage and blooms about 4"- maybe 6-8 per scape.
The first seed pod set this year (selfed) Hilarious! Think I harvested three or four seeds.
Bravery is not being unafraid. Bravery is being afraid and living life anyways.
