Slmin, If pups are removed too soon, They have a hard time adjusting and can die easy. That's why I leave mine on for at least a year before removing them. Also the main plant seems to do better by itself, but not so with many other sans. Bantal's Sensation love company. So do many hahnii.
And most of all, I use a secret plant food.
Just a few pills in the pot when re-potted after removing pups. Also my own compost from grass clippings and leaves.
