Terri......I think it's a very nice crystal vase with a fitted base that locks in the bottom of the vase. In the enlarged pic I can see the base is designed to lock in the bottom of the vase so it won't tip over.

Either way guys it can be a vase or candle holder... I'm not sure how a candle will sit securely on the knob shaped area in the base. Maybe if it's a wide candle it can sit inside the vase area. But really when I think about it , it's not a hurricane shape at all. I have some hurricane candle holders and the candles must be secured tightly and there's nothing in the pic that will hold any candle securely. Besides I wouldn't want to get candle wax all over it there is no way to hold the candle straight. Maybe I need a pair of glasses but that looks a beautiful Crystal Vaas!
