LOL we live on a dark unlighted one lane private road with only 3 families and no children. Our house is 1/4 mile from the 'main road'. If we don't have any house lights on you don;t know there is a house there. We NEVER get trick or treaters. So I usually carve a jack-o-lantern and set it on an old tree stump with a glowstick inside for the deer, raccoons, coyotes, owls, and feral pigs to looks at.
