Well, there you go. The Southern Living Garden Book says "full sun to part or full shade". In fact, some of the bronzy-foilaged ones (Is that a word) like A. reptans color best in the sun. Shrug! They also fry a bit if the sun is too hot. Glare
I garden for the pollinators.
