I agree. I have been growing the Zamia picta/variegata cycad for over 10 years, I bought it from Floribunda in Hawaii with an order of palms I made. The more mature leaves are different from the juvenile leaves on the new flushes but still of not resemble the ZZ plant at all, here is a new flush of growth on mine
