wow marilyn, while i chuckle at some of the comments, i struggle with the same dilemma what companions to place together with the irises. however, i have a much smaller space to puzzle plants together. DH's solution is simple ( but not heeded), " don't buy so many, and you won't have to work so hard".
he doesn't realize just how cathartic gardening is to the soul.......his is fishing
. he just mildly grumbles when he is asked to actively participate in "helping".
