I have had the same insurance company for both for the past 23 years and I would like to change. I am really having a hard time with this. So many things came up when I googled. Do I need to contact a company direct, or go through a local agent? Does anyone know any useful tips about buying insurance? My teen daugter (17) who just got her license in June had an accident and it was her fault. We did get an attorney for the ticket. But our car insurance (w no full coverage, just liability) went up from 80 a month to 200 month. ?! So I guess we either have to find something MUCH cheaper or ditch her altogether because we cannot afford that.
