I did a search online for some vole control strategies. Here's a couple to think about.

Repellents have mixed results and need to be reapplied after it rains. Garden stores sell fox or coyote (predator) urine which usually turns off voles. (You can also pee in your own yard!)

Bulb control? You can discourage voles from nibbling on bulbs by adding gravel to the planting hole (surrounding the bulbs). When you plant bulbs, drench or powder them with a fungicide to keep voles at bay.

These little critters aren't very good climbers. Protect plants by fencing the area with a half-inch of mesh (hardware cloth), at least 12 inches above the ground and buried 6 to 10 inches deep.

This might be an option, not too pretty, but beats not irises at all.

One of the best control methods is an outdoor cat or a dog who's a ratter!

Looks like you need to get a rat terrier! Smiling It would probably love to chase the turkeys out of the yard too. Maybe a Schnauzer? Smiling
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
