I can imagine the mess Carol. I had two benches collapse during this off season. One bench was a 14 foot long piece of roofing metal. The support on one end collapse and everything slid to a pile on the ground. The second one was a similar length of metal roofing but this one rusted and gave way in the middle so everything collapsed from the ends to the middle. That mess is still there. Only one or two Epis on that bench. The other 2 gallon pots were full of soil and dormant Gladioli.
I think I said recently in my blog that there are always battles to win but we never want to win the war otherwise all the fun has gone away.
Rarely have I seen such a clear blue sky as we have today. A perfect shade of blue and a fresh southwesterly wind.
