Last summer, I flipped an old metal candle holder upside down, stuffed it with coir and a little damp sphagnum and placed an Asplenium nidus down into the coir. When we moved back to our home here in Sebastian, a lot of plants got dumped out in the side yard amidst shrubbery and I'd forgotten about this birds nest fern until seeing your post. I went out to look for it, figuring it was probably dead from neglected ... it's a little ratty but I snipped off some broken and browning leaves, watered it and moved it to the screened porch.
