I have all kinds of annuals to go into planters around the yard, but with all of this rain and temps in the low 50s, I figure I'm better off leaving them in their nursery pots.

On another note, I think I'm going to try doing air layering on some of my rhododendrons. I have a large red-purple one in the front That I would love to have more of. The problem is that I have no idea what it is, so I can't look for it. Pictures come out too red to be accurate.

On a side note, these are the new rhodies that Larry and I picked out for our yard. One of them will be installed at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Chevy Chase, MD next month as a memorial

The Orange Marmalade was in bloom when it arrived, and Rock Star is blooming now.

Side note: Home Depot in Germantown has Rhododendron Capistrano in stock. Capistrano is a pale yellow flower. We have one in the front of the house that has bloomed 2 years in a row now.
LLK: No longer by my side, but forever in my heart.
