shopergal said:I am looking for suggestions for good companion hosta for "June" My bed is in deep shade. Currently the bed had Blue Angel Hosta, June, Japanese Painted Fern, and Golden Japanese Grass. The bed has quite a bit of space , not sure what to do. Appreciate any ideas.

You may have less space than you think in two yrs once the Hostas and ferns get going.. If you are like me and do not like to see space I use geranium my favorite is Rozanne, some mini hostas to fill the space and a couple large rocks I hesitate to say boulders but some nice large stepping stones maybe.

When I started my hosta garden and I thought it needed something it was height. a lantern on a shepherd's hook, a bird bath just something for height and interest.

That said I am a stuffer no space kind of girl,, Rolling on the floor laughing
I have june with halcyon hosta on either side

In another area I have Coral Bell and fern.
