I don't have an answer, and I'm sorry about the trauma you & your kitty went through... I do want to suggest reposting this as its own thread in the Daylilies forum. There are plenty of cat lovers there, and somebody should have an answer. I only saw this comment because it was new, and I didn't want it to get lost among the thousands of entries to the DL database.
