Judd Viburnum

This viburnum is commonly known as the Judd Viburnum. Its botanical name is Viburnum carlesii var. bitchiuense. Viburnums are in a genus of at least one hundred+ varieties of shrubs or small trees. For gardeners (and landscapers) who are not faint of heart (and have adequate space) this makes an excellent addition to gardens and yards. Bloom fragrance is a very pleasant powder puff scent from late April well into May. Shrubs provide habitat for nesting song birds and winter roosts for all. Photos to follow.
