I grew Heliotrope from purchased plants last season. They smelled ok but you needed to be close to smell them. They needed a lot of water. This year I tried them from seed I purchased. Nothing came up. Have read they were butterfly magnets but never saw anything on them.
Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.
