I have good news. The AIS e-membership now works to give online access to the quarterly Bulletins. They have reformatted the recent Bulletins, including the new Summer edition so that they do not require Adobe Flash. That means they are now readable on Android (and other) devices. Yay! You just need to have Adobe Acrobat on your machine, and I think that pretty much comes on all devices these days.

They had refunded my e-membership when I couldn't get access to the Bulletin on my Android tablet. But they hadn't deleted my account. I was able to log in tonight and verify that I could read the Summer Bulletin.

So, the only right thing to do was to tell the AIS membership secretary that I am sending him back the e-membership fee.

There's a little bit of bad news, too, though. The AIS webmaster has put up a new main web site page that has multiple non-functioning links. The Login button works to let e-members log in, and it looks like the JOIN button works. But none of the links under the various top headings work. I get an "Internal Server Error" for all of them. I have let the membership secretary know and I hope the webmaster can correct these errors soon.

So, Evelyn, and anyone else interested in AIS e-membership, you can have it now wiith an Anroid device, and it should WORK! Excellent!
